Don't we all love Macs? They're all cool and sleek and shiny. Active Takeoff will run on Macs, though it was first designed as a Windows software.
To install it on a Mac, you need one of these conditions:
1) You need a "Virtual Machine" such as Parallels Desktop or VMWare Fusion on which Windows is installed.
(We've got excellent results in graphics quality and response time with Parallels Desktop)
2) Use Boot Camp.Boot Camp helps you install Microsoft Windows on your Mac. After installing, restart your Mac to switch between OS X and Windows. More info on Boot Camp
3) Use a remote desktop like Teamviewer. This solution requires 2 computers, one running Windows on which Active Takeoff is installed. Requires a constant internet access and is not very responsive.
In all cases, a Windows license is required. Active Takeoff will run on these Windows versions : XP, Vista, Win 7, Win 8, Win 8.1, Win 10 and Win 11.
